The frame consists of vertical posts remaining apparent connected to horizontal beams providing excellent rigidity to the structure. The space is then filled with wood. Some outside walls can also be covered with stones or roughcast to add to the decoration.
The inside part of the structure is covered with an insulation which conforms to the French regulations, and depending on the client choice, the walls are clad with natural wood, old wood, plasterboard, stone, etc.
This style of chalet offers a great architectural flexibility and the construction of more modern and original houses allowing the addition of large bay windows or glass walls. This process also allows the creation of wide and bright open space areas.
