With this type of chalets, the
rigidity is ensured by the linking of vertical and horizontal pieces
beams. Wooden partitioning is then fitted between the beams.
This building technique allows
for greater variety in the use of materials (roughcast, stones) in addition
to wood and the construction of large bay windows.
